Tallin is probably one of the best preserved medieval cities you could ever visit, and in contrast, it is also one of the best WiFi wired cities in the world. It is a very cool place to see, the quaint old town next to the rapid pace of modernization taking place after the fall of the Soviet Union.
The Old Town of Tallin actually has two parts, the Upper Town or Toompea which used to be the seat of the Government, and the Lower Town, the trading center.
Tallin is a great place to see on foot: The Old Town, the Town Hall Square which is very lively with the many shops, and restaurants all around:
Amazing photos! Estonia is on my life list but I might up it to my 2014 list.
